Compass Group plc (GB:CPG) has released an update.
Compass Group PLC has announced the buyback of 229,000 of its ordinary shares, with the transaction conducted through BNP Paribas Financial Markets. The repurchased shares, part of a larger $500 million buyback program set to conclude in 2024, will be held in treasury to fulfill obligations from employee share schemes. Post-purchase, the company’s treasury holds 82,163,788 shares, maintaining the total number of voting rights at 1,703,240,189 shares.
