Ci Financial Corp. (TSE:CIX) has released an update.
CI Financial Corp. has initiated a consent solicitation and set meetings for debentureholders of its 2025 and 2027 series to vote on amendments to the indenture agreements. The proposed changes would align these series with other debenture series by removing a covenant restricting subsidiary indebtedness. Successful consent by a two-thirds majority prior to the deadline may lead to the cancellation of the scheduled meetings and payment of a consent fee to approving debentureholders.
