CI Financial Corp. has initiated a substantial issuer bid to repurchase up to 4,857,142 of its common shares at $17.50 each, representing about 3.11% of its outstanding shares. The buyback offers shareholders an opportunity to sell back shares until April 2, 2024, with the company highlighting the shares’ undervalued status and its intent to efficiently utilize financial resources.
