Centrica plc (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica plc has announced the repurchase of 1,830,000 of its own shares at a volume weighted average price of 132.6224 pence per share, to be held as treasury shares. This move is part of the company’s share repurchase program initiated in October 2023, and collectively, Centrica has acquired over 200 million shares at a cost of nearly £282.4 million since the program’s commencement. After this transaction, the company holds approximately 544.99 million shares in treasury.
