Centrica plc (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica plc has announced the purchase of 1,850,000 of its own ordinary shares at a volume-weighted average price of 130.5236 pence each, as part of its ongoing share repurchase program initiated in October 2023. The acquired shares will be held as treasury shares, contributing to a total cost of £277.5 million spent on buybacks since the program’s commencement. Following this transaction, Centrica plc’s treasury holds over 541 million shares, with 5.34 billion shares remaining in issue.
