Centrica plc (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica plc has continued its share repurchase program, buying back 1,146,000 of its own shares at an average price of 144.6224 pence per share, to be held as treasury shares. This latest transaction is part of the company’s ongoing efforts, which began in October 2023, and has now reached a total expenditure of £313.3 million for 224.8 million shares. The company’s treasury now holds 565.2 million shares, with the total number of shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) standing at 5.3 billion.
