Centrica plc (GB:CNA) has released an update.
In a recent stock market move, Centrica plc has bought back 1.86 million of its own shares at an average price of 132.2874 pence per share, to be held as treasury shares. This action is part of their ongoing share repurchase program initiated in October 2023, with the company having acquired a total of over 209 million shares to date. After the latest transaction, Centrica holds more than 552 million shares in treasury and has over 5.3 billion shares issued, excluding those held in treasury.
