Centrica plc (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica plc has continued its share repurchase program, buying back 1.8 million shares at 134.0831 pence each, which will be held as treasury shares. This move is part of the company’s larger buyback initiative announced last October, bringing the total shares purchased to over 207 million, costing nearly £290 million. The company now holds over 550 million shares in treasury, with just over 5.3 billion shares remaining in issue.
