Canadian Apartment (TSE:CAR.UN) has released an update.
Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust, known as CAPREIT, has declared its monthly distribution for April 2024 to be $0.12084 per unit, amounting to $1.45 annually, payable on May 15 to holders on record by April 30. As the largest publicly traded rental housing provider in Canada, CAPREIT boasts a portfolio of over 64,300 residential properties, with a combined value of about $16.5 billion across Canada and the Netherlands. The company has seen a 103% increase in monthly cash distributions per unit since its initial public offering in 1997.
