Canopy Growth (TSE:WEED) has released an update.
Canopy Growth Corporation is proposing an amendment to introduce a new class of exchangeable shares, allowing common shareholders to convert their holdings into these new non-voting shares and vice versa. Shareholders will vote on this amendment at a special meeting scheduled for April 12, 2024. If approved, the conversion process will be accessible through the company’s website and require a Notice of Conversion to be submitted to the transfer agent.
