BTCS (BTCS) has issued an update.
BTCS Inc. has announced the appointment of Ashley DeSimone to its Board of Directors, where she will also serve as the Chairperson of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and as a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees. DeSimone’s selection was made without any prearranged agreements with other persons, and she has not been involved in any material transactions with the company. She will receive the same compensation as other independent directors: $25,000 in annual cash plus an additional $5,000 for chairing the Nominating Committee, and $50,000 worth of common stock, with both cash and stock installments issued quarterly.
