Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners (TSE:BEP.UN) has released an update.
Brookfield Renewable has announced the successful issuance of $150 million in green perpetual subordinated notes with a 6.78% effective coupon rate, under its 2024 Green Financing Framework. The proceeds will fund sustainable investments, including redeeming Series 15 Preferred Units at a lower rate than their April reset. The notes, listed as BEPJ on the NYSE, bolster Brookfield’s extensive renewable energy platform, which includes a diverse mix of hydro, wind, solar, and storage facilities globally.
