British American Tobacco (UK) (GB:BATS) has released an update.
British American Tobacco p.l.c. has recently executed a share buyback, purchasing 210,000 ordinary shares as part of a programme announced in March 2024, following shareholder authorization at the Annual General Meeting. The shares, acquired at prices ranging from 2327.00p to 2354.00p, will be cancelled, consequently reducing the number of shares with voting rights and affecting shareholder notification requirements under the FCA’s rules.
