BRF SA (BRFS) has released an update.
BRF S.A. has informed shareholders of a new related party transaction where the company, alongside AES Brasil, will guarantee a significant debenture issue by Potengi Holdings S.A., an affiliate in which BRF holds a minority share. Scheduled for March 27th, 2024, the transaction involves 2.1 million debentures, each priced at R$ 100, amounting to R$ 210 million with an 18.5-year maturity, aimed exclusively at qualified investors. BRF’s management believes the guarantee aligns with the company’s interests, emphasizing equitable terms and an absence of joint liability with AES Brasil.
