Braskem Sa (BAK) has released an update.
Braskem S.A., a publicly held company, held a Board of Directors meeting on March 18, 2024, to discuss the fiscal year’s financial outcomes. The meeting concluded with the Board approving the Management Report, Financial Statements, and the proposal for the allocation of results, which included using profit reserves to partially offset the loss recorded for the year. The loss for 2023, amounting to R$ 4.579 billion, will be partially absorbed by the company’s profit reserves, with the remainder recorded under ‘Accumulated Losses’.
