Botala Energy Ltd. reports promising initial results from gas desorption tests at its Serowe CBM Project, with current rates reaching 2.0 scc/gram over 61 days, potentially exceeding the target of 2.4 scc/gram. The company’s recertification process is underway, influenced by the positive testing outcomes and additional exploration and production wells, which could lead to an increase in estimated gas volumes. Results are part of a comprehensive three-stage testing program designed to assess the gas content and production potential from coal seams.
