Bitfarms Expands Capacity, Increases Mining Efficiency

Bitfarms (TSE:BITF) has released an update.

Bitfarms Ltd., a global Bitcoin data center operator, reported a slight revenue decrease to $42 million in the second quarter of 2024, but achieved a significant increase in mining efficiency and capacity expansion. The company’s hashrate improved to 11.1 EH/s and efficiency to 25 w/TH, with plans to reach 21 EH/s. Furthermore, it added 220 MW of capacity, positioning itself as the largest miner in South America with further expansion expected.
