Barclays (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently bought back 4.597 million of its own shares for cancellation, at prices ranging from 211.8p to 217.6p, with a volume weighted average price of 215.8682p per share. This move is part of a larger share buy-back program announced earlier in February, which has seen the company purchase over 278 million shares to date. The cancellation of these shares will reduce the total issued share capital to approximately 14.9 billion shares with voting rights.
