Barclays plc (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has announced the buy-back of 7,644,000 of its ordinary shares, intending to cancel them to reduce the issued share capital. The shares were purchased at a volume weighted average price of 179.0557p per share. This move is part of a larger share buy-back program initiated on February 21, 2024, which has seen the company repurchase over 171 million shares.
