Barclays PLC has actively been purchasing its own shares for cancellation, as part of a buy-back program announced on February 21, 2024. The company has bought millions of shares, with detailed transactions listed, resulting in a reduced number of ordinary shares with voting rights. Shareholders can use the updated issued share capital figures as a denominator for notification of interest changes under the FCA’s rules.
