Barclays plc (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently bought back and plans to cancel over 1.2 million of its ordinary shares, as part of an ongoing share repurchase initiative announced earlier in February 2024. The transaction took place on the London Stock Exchange with J.P. Morgan Securities acting as the broker, signaling Barclays’ continued efforts to manage its share capital. Post cancellation, Barclays will have over 15 billion ordinary shares with voting rights in issue.
