Barclays (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently completed a share buy-back on the London Stock Exchange, purchasing 4,605,315 shares for cancellation, which will reduce the company’s issued share capital to 14,938,327,156 ordinary shares. The shares were bought at prices ranging from 213.6500p to 217.5500p, averaging at 215.4061p. This move follows the company’s buy-back announcement on 21 February 2024 and is part of an ongoing program that has seen Barclays purchase over 274 million shares to date.
