Atlantic Lithium Ltd., poised to establish Ghana’s first lithium mine, has been greenlit to join the Ghana Stock Exchange, a move expected to broaden its investor base and align the company’s interests with local stakeholders. The anticipated production from their Ewoyaa Lithium Project is seen as pivotal for Ghana’s entry into the lithium market and the global electrification transition. The company, which has already received significant backing from Ghana’s mineral sovereign wealth fund, aims to start production in the second half of 2024, amidst growing electric vehicle demand.
