Ashtead Group plc has announced the repurchase of 3,937 of its own shares on April 24, 2024, as part of its $500 million share buyback program initiated in May 2023. The shares were bought back at an average price of 5,727 pence each, with Barclays Capital Securities Limited acting as the broker. Post-transaction, Ashtead Group’s issued ordinary share count stands at 437,298,807, excluding Treasury shares.
