Ashford Hospitality Trust (AHT) just unveiled an announcement.
J. Robison Hays III, the President and CEO of Ashford Hospitality Trust, has announced his resignation effective June 30, 2024. Succeeding him will be Stephen Zsigray, who has been with the company since 2014 and has a background with UBS Investment Bank and Deloitte Consulting. Zsigray’s experience includes a role as the President and COO of OpenKey and his current position as CFO and Treasurer of Stirling Hotels & Resorts. His appointment follows no special arrangement or familial ties with the company’s executives, and he holds no material interest in any transactions with Ashford Trust that would require disclosure under financial regulations.
