Anywhere Real Estate ate (HOUS) has released an update to notify the public and investors about an entry into a material definitive agreement.
Anywhere Real Estate Inc. has entered into a strategic agreement with investment firm Angelo Gordon and its affiliates to reshape its board of directors. Joseph Lenz will join the board as an independent director with an initial term leading up to the 2024 annual stockholders’ meeting, where he will be recommended for election. The agreement also includes provisions for the investor parties to vote in favor of certain board decisions and adhere to standstill restrictions, non-disparagement, and confidentiality clauses during the cooperation period, enhancing stability and governance within the company.
