Anglo American (GB:AAL) has released an update.
Anglo American PLC reports an 11% rise in copper production and a 7% increase in steelmaking coal output in Q1 2024, largely due to improved operations at Quellaveco and Aquila. Despite flat overall production numbers, the company is focusing on operational excellence and cost-effective management to enhance value. Adjustments in diamond production in response to market levels led to a downward revision of the year’s production guidance to 26-29 million carats.
