Altamira Gold Corp. has announced promising results from their second drilling campaign at the Maria Bonita gold discovery within the Cajueiro project in Brazil, with six drill holes uncovering thick intervals of gold mineralization in altered quartz porphyry rhyolite. The findings reveal consistent gold presence over significant distances, suggesting an extensive mineralization event, and the discovery of a deeper high-grade zone hints at the potential for higher-grade feeder zones. The company continues to drill and analyze additional holes, looking to expand the known mineralized area and optimize gold recovery based on previous successful leach tests.
