Alpha Metallurgical Resources (AMR) has issued an announcement.
Alpha Metallurgical Resources, Inc. is witnessing a shake-up in its boardroom, with directors Michael J. Quillen and Albert E. Ferrara, Jr., as well as Elizabeth A. Fessenden, announcing their resignations due to age restrictions ahead of the May stockholders’ meeting. In a strategic move, the board has appointed Shelly Lombard as a new director and chair of the audit committee, while also reducing the board size from nine to seven members, signaling a leaner governance structure set to take effect by the end of February.
