Agilent (A) has released an update.
Michael McMullen, President and CEO of Agilent Technologies, has announced his retirement effective May 1, 2024, and will serve as a senior advisor until October 31, 2024. Agilent’s Board has appointed Padraig McDonnell, a seasoned company veteran since 1998, as the new COO and CEO-elect, set to take over following McMullen’s departure. McDonnell’s compensation has been increased, including a significant equity component that vests based on performance goals, underscoring the company’s confidence in his leadership. Agilent publicly shared these executive changes and McDonnell’s unblemished company record in a recent press release.
