ABx Group Limited (AU:ABX) has released an update.
ABx Group Limited reports enhanced fluorine recovery rates from their ALCORE bath pilot batch reactor, hitting an 80% recovery in a single stage and up to 88% with further processing. The company has been refining their process for recovering fluorine from aluminium smelter waste, with the ultimate goal of producing high-value aluminium fluoride, which is crucial for aluminium smelting and currently fully imported. ABx is planning further tests to potentially exceed 90% recovery using a combination of batch and laboratory reactors.
