A2Z Smart Technologies Corp. reports unaudited preliminary financial results for 2023, showing an annual revenue increase of 20% to $11.3 million, but a significant 66% quarterly drop in the fourth quarter. The decrease is attributed to the completion of Gen 2.5 smart cart deliveries, with expectations to deploy the new Gen 3.0 carts in the second quarter of 2024. Despite increased annual revenue, the company faced an operating loss of $17.9 million and is focusing on fulfilling backlogged orders and acquiring new clients.
