CME Group Hikes Dividend by 11%

Derivatives marketplace CME Group Inc. (NASDAQ: CME) recently announced a quarterly dividend of $1 per share, an increase of more than 11% from the previous dividend of $0.90.

The dividend will be paid on March 25, 2022, to shareholders of record as of March 10, 2022.

Following the news, shares of the company rose over 1% to close at $241.25 in Thursday’s extended trading session.

The company’s annual dividend of $4 per share now reflects a dividend yield of 1.7% based on Thursday’s closing price.

Notably, the company has been raising its quarterly dividend consistently over the past five years, making it an attractive choice for investors.
