Astec (ASTE) has released an update to notify the public and investors about its officers.
William Bradley Southern announced his immediate retirement from the Board of Directors of Astec Industries, Inc. on January 18, 2024, after serving since 2018 with no disagreements prompting his departure. Patrick S. Shannon and Jeffrey T. Jackson were appointed to the Board, enlarging it to 11 directors, with Shannon joining the Audit Committee and Jackson the Compensation Committee. Linda Knoll succeeded Southern as Chair of the Compensation Committee. Both Shannon and Jackson meet the Board’s independence criteria, with no external arrangements influencing their appointments, and will receive the standard non-employee director compensation as outlined in the Company’s 2023 proxy statement.
