AST SpaceMobile (NASDAQ:ASTS) which operates a cellular broadband network in space has successfully placed its test satellite, BlueWalker 3, in space. The launch was broadcast live and contact was made with the satellite less than an hour from takeoff.
The company now has a robust portfolio of over 2,400 patent and patent claims along with tie-ups with more than 25 mobile network operators worldwide.
Further, ASTS is also preparing for its next phase of satellites called BlueBirds.
