Acuity Brands Inc (AYI) has released an update to notify the public and investors about the submission of matters to a vote of security holders.
At the annual meeting on January 24, 2024, the company’s stockholders elected ten directors for a one-year term, approved an amendment to the Restated Certificate, ratified Ernst & Young LLP as the independent accounting firm for fiscal 2024, and endorsed executive officer compensation and its annual advisory vote frequency. The board confirmed that these advisory votes on executive compensation will occur annually until the next mandated frequency vote.
