ETF Overview

MicroSectors 3x Long High Yield Corporate Bond (HYG) ETNs

HYGU (MicroSectors 3x Long High Yield Corporate Bond (HYG) ETNs) is a leveraged exchange-traded note designed to deliver three times the daily performance of the VettaFi High Yield Corporate Bond Fund‑Tracking Index (before fees and charges). The index is a broad‑based high‑yield corporate bond benchmark that aggregates below‑investment‑grade corporate debt across a wide range of maturities and issuers, so the ETN provides concentrated directional exposure to movements in the high‑yield credit market rather than to individual bonds. Because HYGU is an ETN (an unsecured debt obligation), holders take on issuer credit risk in addition to the underlying bond market risks. HYGU targets 3x leverage on a day‑to‑day basis with a daily leverage reset; as a result, its performance over periods longer than a single trading day can diverge materially from three times the index’s cumulative return due to compounding, path dependency and volatility decay. The product is therefore most appropriate for sophisticated, short‑term traders and tactical investors seeking amplified exposure to tightening or widening high‑yield spreads, not for buy‑and‑hold retail investors. Key risk drivers include amplified price volatility, credit‑spread moves in junk bonds, interest‑rate changes across maturities, liquidity risk in stressed markets and the ETN issuer’s creditworthiness.
