ETF Overview
T-REX 2X Long FIGR Daily Target ETF
T-REX 2X Long FIGR Daily Target ETF (FGRU) is a single-stock, sector-focused leveraged ETF that seeks to deliver 200% of the daily price movement of Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. (FIGR), net of fees and expenses. Positioned in the Financials sector with a concentrated focus on the Consumer Finance niche, FGRU gives investors amplified exposure to the short-term performance of FIGR rather than to a diversified basket of financial firms.
The fund achieves its objective by using derivatives—primarily swap agreements and similar instruments—to replicate twice the daily return of FIGR. Because FGRU is a daily-resetting, 2x long vehicle, its return is designed to match 200% of FIGR’s performance for a single trading day. Over multi-day periods, compounding and market volatility can cause the ETF’s cumulative return to diverge significantly from two times FIGR’s longer-term return, so outcomes can differ materially from an unlevered or buy-and-hold position.
FGRU is intended for active, sophisticated investors and traders who want tactical, short-term exposure to Figure Technology Solutions—for example, to express a directional view, enhance intraday leverage, or implement short-term hedges. The concentrated single-stock nature of the fund carries elevated idiosyncratic risk, higher potential volatility, and greater sensitivity to company-specific news than broad-based financial ETFs.
Prospective investors should be aware of features inherent in leveraged ETF structures: daily rebalancing costs, funding and frictional costs embedded in derivatives, potential counterparty risk, and the impact of volatility on multi-day returns. FGRU can be a powerful tactical tool when used appropriately, but it is generally not suitable as a long-term, passive holding.
