What is Loopring?
Loopring
Founded by Daniel Wang in 2019, the Loopring protocol is a non-custodial exchange bringing together the features of centralized and decentralized crypto exchanges. LRC, an Ethereum-based token, is set up for creating decentralized exchanges that provide centralized order book matches with settlements on a blockchain.
LRC aims to remove the key pitfalls of a centralized exchange by keeping trades on a public blockchain. LRC enables high-throughput, low cost trades and payments on Ethereum.
Further, LRC can process thousands of requests off-chain in batches. The max supply of LRC tokens is currently capped at ~1.37 billion.
