Yuma Energy, Inc. primarily focused on the procurement, cultivation, and prospecting for both traditional and non-traditional crude oil and natural gas deposits throughout the United States. Its onshore asset portfolio encompassed properties in central and southern Louisiana, alongside southeastern Texas. The company managed both operated and non-operated interests across various parishes in south Louisiana, specifically listing Cameron, LaFourche, Livingston, St. Helena, St. Bernard, and Vermilion. Additionally, Yuma Energy maintained operated and non-operated holdings in Jefferson and Madison counties, situated in southeast Texas. It also held a non-operated stake in the East Texas Woodbine region and operated assets within Kern County, California. The company's corporate headquarters were located in Houston, Texas. Notably, Yuma Energy, Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on April 15, 2020, which was later reclassified as a Chapter 7 liquidation on October 19, 2020.
