The company maintains a complete 100% working interest in a significant 768,000-acre oil and gas block situated in the shared maritime zones of Tunisia and Libya. Furthermore, it controls undeveloped acreage in Alberta, Canada, encompassing 44,021 net acres in the Duvernay play and 53,489 net acres in the Wabamun play, within the West Central and Northern parts of the province. Founded in 1983, the entity was initially named Canadian Superior Energy Inc. before rebranding as Sonde Resources Corp. in June 2010. Its principal office is situated in Calgary, Canada.
