Suspect Detection Systems Inc. (SDSS), through its subsidiary Suspect Detection Systems Ltd., specializes in creating and deploying unique technologies designed for law enforcement agencies and border security. Its flagship product family, branded "Cogito," combines proprietary software with standard, off-the-shelf hardware. These systems are engineered to identify individuals who may represent a security risk, uniquely detecting threats regardless of whether they are physically carrying a weapon or other contraband. The Cogito portfolio includes the portable Cogito4M-Mobile System, the robust Cogito4M Military Grade Rigid Manpack System, and the large-scale Cogito 1003 Standalone Mass Screening Unit. Beyond weapon detection, SDSS is also active in developing advanced behavior-based screening solutions tailored for checkpoint environments. These technologies find diverse applications, from counter-terrorism, immigration, and drug interdiction to human resources, asset tracking, and transportation management. Established in 2006, the company adopted its current name, Suspect Detection Systems Inc., in January 2009, having previously operated as PCMT Corporation. Its operations are headquartered in New York, New York.
