Currently, Scient, Inc. does not engage in significant business activities. Prior to the sale of its assets in September 2002, the company specialized in offering technology strategy consulting, designing system architectures, and developing infrastructure, alongside providing tailored industry-specific solutions. Its primary objective was to conceive, build, and implement advanced eBusiness solutions for corporate clients and other information technology users. The firm, established in 1996 and headquartered in New York, New York, adopted the name Scient, Inc. in July 2002, having previously operated as India-Sierra Holdings, Inc. Notably, Scient, Inc. initiated a voluntary reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in July 2002.
