These solutions operate over various infrastructure, including power lines, twisted-pair wires, and coaxial cables, functioning effectively across all alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) power grids worldwide. The company's diverse portfolio further encompasses the creation and distribution of underwater video cameras, lighting systems, and related accessories for the marine, commercial, and consumer retail markets. Additionally, Powerlinx develops and commercializes accident avoidance systems tailored for a wide range of vehicles, from small to large. Their offerings are supplied to a broad spectrum of clients, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), dealers, distributors, retailers, and direct consumers, primarily throughout North America but also internationally. Founded in 1986, the St. Petersburg, Florida-based company was formerly known as Seaview Video Technology, Inc. before rebranding as Powerlinx Inc. in December 2003.
