Deutsche Post AG is a leading global provider of postal and logistics services, operating extensively across Germany, the broader European continent, the Americas, Asia Pacific, and both the Middle East and Africa. The company's diverse operations are organized into five primary segments: Express; Global Forwarding, Freight; Supply Chain; eCommerce Solutions; and Post & Parcel Germany. The Express division specializes in time-sensitive courier and expedited delivery services for both corporate and individual customers. The Global Forwarding, Freight segment facilitates the transport of goods via air, ocean, and overland routes, offering multi-modal and industry-specific solutions. This segment's core model involves acting as an intermediary, connecting clients with appropriate freight carriers. The Supply Chain division develops customized logistics strategies for its clients, utilizing a modular approach that includes warehousing and transportation. It also provides value-added services such as e-fulfilment, comprehensive omnichannel support, returns management, lead logistics partner services, real estate solutions, service parts logistics, and specialized packaging for a wide array of industrial sectors. Through its eCommerce Solutions arm, the company handles parcel deliveries and international cross-border shipments that are not time-critical. Finally, the Post & Parcel Germany segment is responsible for the domestic transport and delivery of mail communications, packages, physical and hybrid letters, and specialized goods. It further offers supplementary services like registered delivery, cash-on-delivery options, and insured items. Originally founded in 1490, Deutsche Post AG maintains its corporate headquarters in Bonn, Germany.
