Headquartered in Verona, Italy, Banco BPM S.p.A. and its affiliates deliver a broad spectrum of banking and financial services throughout Italy. The bank caters to a varied customer base, encompassing individual consumers, small and medium-sized enterprises, and large corporations. Its operational framework is organized into segments such as Retail, Corporate, Institutional, Private, Investment Banking, Strategic Partnerships, Leases, and a Corporate Centre. Individual clients can access offerings like current accounts, residential mortgages, personal loans, and a variety of card products (credit, debit, and prepaid), along with insurance for home, personal, asset, and vehicle needs, as well as savings, investment products, and online trading facilities. For businesses, the company provides financing, corporate leasing, project and real estate funding, payment and collection services, trade and export finance, digital solutions, and investment and transactional banking. By December 31, 2021, Banco BPM operated 1,508 branches. The entity adopted its current name, Banco BPM Società per Azioni, in January 2017, having previously been known as Banco Popolare Societa Cooperativa Scarl.
