Globally, Subaru Corporation is involved in the manufacturing and sale of both automotive and aerospace products. The company's operations are divided into three primary segments: the Automotive Business Unit, the Aerospace Company, and a category for Other Businesses. Its core activities include the production, distribution, and repair of passenger vehicles and their parts, along with airplanes, aerospace-related machinery, and their components. Furthermore, it manages and leases real estate properties. Subaru also offers a range of additional services such as vehicle shipping, land freight, and warehousing; vehicle leasing and rental; vehicle credit and financing; aircraft inspection, service, and maintenance; and IT system development and operation. The entity was previously known as Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. before officially changing its name to Subaru Corporation in April 2017. Founded in 1917, Subaru Corporation's headquarters are located in Tokyo, Japan.
