Mt. Carmel Public Utility Co. (MCPB) is a utility provider that delivers essential electricity and natural gas services to a diverse clientele, encompassing households, businesses, and industrial operations. Its operational footprint extends across the city of Mt. Carmel and select regions of Wabash County, Illinois. Furthermore, the company caters to the inhabitants and enterprises located in the Illinois communities of Allendale, Patton, St. Francisville, Bellmont, Keensburg, and Cowling. The organization, founded in 1893, was previously known as Mt. Carmel Public Utility and Service Company before officially rebranding as Mt. Carmel Public Utility Co. in February 1946. It maintains its headquarters in Mount Carmel, Illinois.
