The company's core mission is to connect television and various other video delivery technologies with personal computers and mobile devices. Their diverse product portfolio includes a range of TV receivers and tuners. Notable offerings include Broadway, which streams television signals over Wi-Fi networks or the internet. They also provide digital and hybrid analog/digital TV receivers, allowing PC users to watch television in resizable windows on their desktop or laptop screens, alongside PCTV systems TV tuners that enable computer-based TV viewing, and traditional analog TV tuners. Furthermore, Hauppauge offers several video recording solutions. The USB-Live2 is a standard definition video capture device for digitizing analog video sources, such as videotapes, onto a PC. For gamers, the HD PVR 2 kit facilitates the recording of high-definition gameplay. The HD PVR serves as a high-definition video recorder for creating compressed video files and converting old home video tapes into the AVCHD format. The Colossus product is designed to record high-definition video directly from cable TV or satellite set-top boxes. The company's software suite enhances the user experience, featuring the WinTV application for PC-based TV watching, pausing, and recording. WinTV Extend acts as a PC-based internet video server, streaming live television or other video content to remote devices. The Impact video capture board supports PC-based videoconferencing and video capture in industrial settings. Additionally, Hauppauge provides the MediaMVP-HD, a Linux-based digital media device linking TV sets and PCs, and the MediaMVP, which enables users to view and listen to PC-stored videos, music, and images on their televisions via a home network, complete with an on-screen display of media directories.
