Global Diamond Exchange, Inc. is involved in the international commerce of both raw and polished diamonds, sourcing these gems from the Russian Federation and other significant diamond-mining areas. The company, which maintains its headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia, formerly operated as Mirador Corporation. It officially rebranded to Global Diamond Exchange, Inc. in September 2006, a transition driven by a change in its principal business focus. Since September 17, 2007, Global Diamond Exchange, Inc. has been functioning as a subsidiary of Sib Almaz.
